Reset an original Hack computer?

Hi! I have an original Hack (beta) laptop, and I’d like to reset it so my daughter can use it (wiping out what my older son already has done with it)… any tips/guidance on how to go about that?

Run the following command in Terminal:

sudo eos-factory-reset

This will remove every personal data on the device.

Just to confirm - this will keep the “Hack” functionality intact? (versus going back to some baseline Endless install that doesn’t have the Hack customization)

Yes, essentially it just erases the User account and it’s data. The applications are untouched.

If I do this, run factor reset, will it makes all the aplications returns to previous version or the very first version?

No, it will keep all installed apps at their current versions.

Well I need to do an application step back to the first version, the factor version… I don’t care if it demands fully reset!

Any idea?

My Steam does’t work anymore…
