Running Wayland on EOS4

It’s now much easier than before to run Wayland on Endless, as long as you are running our development version.

Two notes:

  1. Been running EOS on Wayland for many months now and haven’t had any real issues with it - except one Flatpaked application which had issues with XWayland formerly.
  2. Wayland currently works only on free drivers (amdgpu/nouveau), so Users of NVIDIA Cards which are using the proprietary driver should not enable Wayland yet.
