Scanner dcp 9020 brother

hello , I have a brother dcp-9020-cdw printer /scanner.Printing works very well but I just don’t know how I can make the integrated scanner work…
Is there a driver or something else that has to be installed?

Something that would help us a lot to understand the problem would be this:

  1. Open the application called ‘Terminal’
  2. In this application run the command:

eos-diagnostics

  1. The above command will create a file with the information of your system (example: eos-diagnostic-160614_111731_UTC + 0100.txt); Send us this file so we can analyze and see a possible solution

Printer and scanner drivers are built directly into Endless OS so if it doesn’t work then you’ll need an OS update to get newer drivers. The Brother scanner driver has a licence that makes it very difficult for us to redistribute. I’ll spend a little time to investigate if the situation has changed since I looked at this last year, but I don’t think we’ll be able to enable this particularly quickly I’m afraid.
