I hope this message finds you well.
I’ve been using Endless OS and I truly appreciate its stability and ease of use. However, I am currently facing an issue with scanner support.
My device, the HP LaserJet Professional M1132 MFP, is not recognized by the Document Scanner (Simple Scan) application. I’ve verified that the printer functionality works correctly, but the scanner component is not detected at all.
Here are some additional details:
- Endless OS version: Endless OS 6.0.7
- Connection type: USB
- Scanner model: HP LaserJet Professional M1132 MFP
I’ve already tried the following steps:
- Installed and ran the
Document Scanner
via Flatpak - Allowed device access using
flatpak override --user --device=all
- Verified the USB connection (
lsusb
confirms the device is listed)
Despite this, the scanner still does not appear in the application.
I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions you can provide to help resolve this issue.
