Steam doesn't launch games

Hello, 80% of my games are not launching on steam. When I press play, it goes to “preparing to launch” and then the button “play” reappears but nothing happens.

Please help :frowning:

I was able to play these games some moths ago, but now, they won’t launch

First and obvious question: Do you have updated your system and applications to the latest version available? If in doubt, please provide us with a diagnostic by opening Terminal and running:

eos-diagnostics

Then, upload the generated file from your Home directory into this thread.

If you are sure that you are running the latest versions, please compress the log files of Steam (located in: ~/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/data/Steam/logs) into a zip archive and upload it too.
