Surface Pro Go (2018) Installation Assistance Required

I really want to get rid of Windows 11 completely and switch to Endless OS, but I’m feeling a bit confused by the installation instructions I’ve found—they seem to work for my other devices, just not this one.
(The installer just skips directly to Win 11 booting btw)
I remember someone asking a similar question a while ago, but it looks like they didn’t get a response.

Start from the USB through Windows. If you’re having trouble starting your Surface with the bootable USB, you can try booting through Windows.

To do this:Insert the USB drive into the USB port, and then select Start > Settings > System > Recovery.Under Advanced startup, select Restart Now.

On the Choose an option screen, select Use a device > USB Storage.

There should be a 1:1 without all of this I’m assuming

Isn’t the Surface Pro a tablet? It might not work at all on this.
Have you tried deactivating secure boot in BIOS?

I made it work by the steps I said in my second comment. And yes secure boot was off. My son is now having fun using the tablet with EOS now. Thank you for trying to assist.
