The Endless installer won't recognize my NVME

I’ve got this computer with an Endless OS installation which somehow was corrupted. We are considering a hardware issue, but opted for reinstalling. Booting from my Endless LiveUSB, lsblk sees /dev/nvme0n1 (the SSD) and /dev/sda (the LiveUSB), but the installer only offers to install on the LiveUSB. Previously it was me who installed Endless OS on this computer, although with another, previous LiveUSB. I tried ln -s /dev/nvme0n1 /dev/sdb, but didn’t help. It’s not specific to Endless OS, because my Debian 13 installation USB didn’t recognize the SSD as somewhere to install, either. Any suggestions?

Problem solved!

I was mistaking the “where to install from” dialog for the “where to install to” dialog, which was the next step.
