When i try to run codeblocks it dosent run…
It shows blank screen.
HELP ME PLEASE…
@Sumit_Gaur
Anyway, something that would help us a lot to understand the problem would be this:
- Open the application called ‘Terminal’
- In this application run the command: eos-diagnostics
- The above command will create a file with the information of your system (example: eos-diagnostic-160614_111731_UTC + 0100.txt); Send us this file so we can analyze and see a possible solution
eos-diagnostic-170227_191819_UTC 0530.txt (381.3 KB)
@Sumit_Gaur there’s no mention of Code::Blocks in this eos-diagnostics
report. Please do the following:
- Open a terminal
flatpak run org.codeblocks.App
- If it works, great
- If not, attach the output to this ticket, and generate another
eos-diagnostics
report and attach that too
I am installing code blocks again as i had uninstalled it
Thanks for your quick response.
Why am I not able to run commands which other linux supports?
Is it because of GNOME?
uninstalling and installing again worked for me
Thanks for your help.
This OS is awesome
devs are doing an awesome job.
Can you be more specific about which commands you can’t run?
apt-get
and friends do not work because Endless OS is distributed using OSTree. (We use dpkg
and apt
to assemble the unmodifiable OSTree snapshots.) Similarly, apps are distributed using Flatpak. See this FAQ for a bit more info: https://support.endlessm.com/hc/en-us/articles/210527183-Can-I-install-Linux-software-and-apps-from-Ubuntu-Fedora-and-others-on-Endless-
