Using Gnome Calendar instead of Evolution as default calendar app

Hi all,

I would like to use the Gnome Calendar app as the default calendar. I have installed it from the App Center, but I cannot select it as the calendar provider in the Default applications.

How can I make this work?

Kind regards, Arjen

Hello,

if you have the latest version of Endless OS, you can integrate this calendar with your email calendar, e.g. google, on Settings→Online Accounts.

Then run the app, and “Pin to the Bar” by right mouse clicking on the icon of this app that appears on the task bar.

In a couple of minutes this one will synchronize, and you will be able to see your activities on this calendar.

Best regards,

Hi @ArjenR,

GNOME Calendar is not able to open calendar files, that’s why it’s not listed in the Default Applications panel.

Best regards
