As far as I can see from the postings in this category, the release history starts with version 2 in 2016 and a major upgrade to version 3 in November, 2016.
Is this correct or would it be better extracted from the release history in https://github.com/endlessm/eos-desktop/releases which implies Version 2 in June 2014, and a Version 1.1 in May, 2013.
Where can I find a more detailed release history?
Good question - that’s github repo is pretty accurate up until we changed the way we do releases internally. @roddy is the keeper of the release calendar internally and should be able to help.
Here is the Endless OS release history according to my records, reflecting the date that we publish an OSTree update for existing users, which may not exactly line up with the date that images are available for new users to download. As part of the release process, we add a tag to the stable branch of the relevant git repos, so https://github.com/endlessm/eos-desktop/releases (for older versions) and https://github.com/endlessm/gnome-shell/releases (for newer versions) may be of interest to you (though may not exactly align with the dates that the OSTree was released).

I do not have records for releases prior to 2.1. They were for internal use and targeted pilot testing only, and are completely unsupported.
