use a lighter weight desktop enviroment xfce, openbox, mate, kde neon, enlightenment or deepin please choose something other than stock gnome with addons please gnome sucks on it own and adding bullshit to it makes it worse.

the updating method should be with a usb or disc like tails
it should only come with the desktop enviroment
make it completly offline because come on i want my completly offiline distro this is the reason endless got popular in the first place making a user firendly offine distro come on man.

the you should have a way for nubs to install other software like terminals emulators and other desktop enivorments etc… so you can have a install tool that complies packages for them ro i dunno make iso full of the packages and then in the instal tool they can pick and choose what software the want or not. come on
