Cannot connect to wifi

Dear Community,

I am using an Acer laptop and an Asus router. For the last 2,5 years, the connection was perfect but after a longer (several hours) lack of service (due to maintenance), I was unable to reconnect to the wifi network. Other devices can connect without problem.

Could you help me with this issue?

Thank you very much for your assistance in advance.

Best regards,
Zsolt

Something that would help us a lot to understand the problem would be this:

  1. Open the application called ‘Terminal’
  2. In this application run the command:

eos-diagnostics

  1. The above command will create a file with the information of your system (example: eos-diagnostic-160614_111731_UTC + 0100.txt); Send us this file so we can analyze and see a possible solution

Dear Leandro,

Please find attached the file.eos-diagnostic-210427_224734_UTC 0200.txt (1,0 MB)

Does your device has some hardware switch to enable/disable the Wireless card? In you log it seems that the device is unable to connect due to a disabled Wifi:

Can you please verify this and report back to us.

I tried several times to switch off and on the wifi connection (i.e. to go airplane mode) on the laptop, but I didn’t modify the Wireless card directly.
In addition to that, last weekend, I managed to connect to other networks, while the problem has been present with the network I’d like to use now since Wednesday or Thursday.

Can you please try to remove the Network connection in question and try again. Follow the instructions in the Thread below:
