Failing to open any application on endless

im failing to open any application on endless 3.7.5…when i try opening from the app center it say “could not create cache”

please help

Can you attach a diagnostic log? To generate an eos-diagnostic file:

  1. Open the application called ‘Terminal’. You can search for it by typing into the search bar on the desktop.
  2. In the Terminal, type the command: eos-diagnostics
  3. The above command will create a file with the information of your system (example: eos-diagnostic-160614_111731_UTC + 0100.txt); Send us this file so we can analyze it and seek a possible solution

i can open the terminal but eos-diagnostics file does not download

i hv managed to download it by going through the shared account

Are you still not able to open applications? I’m guessing that your filesystem had corruption which caused it to be mounted read only, and then it was repaired which is why you were able to get a diagnostic log.

im only able to use applications on the guest account not on the user account
