Spread the Word

It’s simply great. Now I can give my old Low powered mini Laptop to my kid or I can donate it to needy. I loved the Endless OS. I’m spreading the word in all my community, in the organisation and Social networking platforms. I appreciate all the developers and everyone involved in this project. Great Work guys!

Thanks, @phani! Let us know how we can help you spread the word!

Hi @phani,

warms my heart to read that. Thanks for spreading the word and, as @nuritzi said, let us know how we can help you spread the word.

With respect,
Georges

Thanks for asking. I’m a OS deployment specialist for one of the leading IT
infrastructure services company in the world. We have a huge customer base
across the regions in end-user computing domain space. It’s the Windows OS
(7/10) we offer for our customer as Enterprise desktop OS. Every 2 years we
recommend to refresh the customer h/w, as we assume they are low powered
for the current version applications/tools. However, we still can use the
end of life devices for Helpdesk, BPO, thin client activities.
I was in a search for a OS, which is license free, comes with preinstalled
applications, less maintenance etc. I found Endless OS is a better option
than other in the market now. I understand that the EOS is designed with a
diff moto, looking at the possibility for integrating it in a enterprise.

When I propose this to management, I come across couple of questions like,

  1. Co-existence with Windows OS in the same network.
  2. Utilising the Active Directory services
  3. Enterprise Print capabilities.
  4. Any license issues, if we use it for re-Distribution

and more

I can discuss in detail, if you guys are interested to take this forward.

Very cool @phani! I’ll forward this to our sales team to follow up with you about the enterprise questions.

We’re trying to think of ways that we can support people who want to do community outreach - please let us know if you have ideas. Would something like having access to USBs with Endless OS on them help outreach efforts by you, for example?
