Touchpad does not work endless 3.8.7

Hello, I am using version 3.8.7 (201005-133640) and the touchpad does not work. You can use it and move it around but when you do a click there are high chances of the pad being unable to detect any further click.

It makes the OS totally useless.

no sabes como instalar windows en tu misma version?

I do not want to use Windows on the laptop. I would rather get endlessOS working correctly.
