Hi. I work well with Endless on a All-in-one PC, I like it, and I want to create a bootable USB containing a version of Windows (to install on a laptop). I succeeded writing the bootable usb, but it is not recognized on the laptop. Has anyone tried something similar?
Thank you.
Hi,
to get qualified Windows support, please head over to some good Windows board like MSFN.
But i will try to give a short instruction:
1.) Grab a USB Stick with at least 16 GB
2.) Make two partitions, one with 4 GB, the other with 12 GB
3.) Format the first partition with FAT32, the second one with NTFS
4.) Copy the content of the Windows 10 ISO to the 4 GB partition, but except the file sources\install.wim
(because this file is larger than 4 GB and FAT32 can only handle 4 GB files at maximum)
5.) Copy the content of the entire Windows 10 ISO to the 12 GB partition.
6.) Boot the computer with this stick and install.
