The second beta release of Endless OS 3.8.0 is out. Please follow these instructions if you want to join the beta testing program; bear in mind that the chance of encountering bugs is higher than in a regular stable release. As always, please ensure your data is backed up!
Except where otherwise noted, all release notes for 3.8.0~beta1 still apply.
Note that support for ARM/Mini got re-enabled in this version and this update is available for all existing users.
Other Improvements and Changes
- Updated VirtualBox Guest Utils. We’ve updated it to version 6.1.4, improving support when running as a guest in VirtualBox.
- “Zoom” accessibility feature fix. Endless OS 3.8.0-beta1 introduced an issue where the graphical interface would crash when enabling the “zoom” accessibility feature. This is now fixed.
- Other general improvements and bugfixes.
Known Issues
- When you unlock your screen or suspend and resume your computer, sometimes the icons may disappear from your desktop. If this happens, clicking the desktop should make the icons reappear.
