Dropbox is not syncrhonized

@Paolo_Tognola While I’m very thankful to you for having confirmed that the issue was, indeed, a problem typing the commands I posted and not an issue in the app itself, I wanted to make it very clear that this was not your fault either:

Those commands are easy to mistype and when doing they are quite destructive (as you could see), and so I should have been the one making it very clear that they would have to be carefully typed and executed or, even better, to provide a different way (e.g. a script) for you to do it so safely.

So please, don’t say that it was your fault or that you did wrong, because it’s a perfectly understandable mistake, and sorry again for me not being clear enough.

Thanks again for your help,
Mario

Qué es exactamente lo que no funciona? No arranca la aplicación? No sincroniza?

Mario

Found, there is no synchronization Dropbox. Please see what’s wrong. Logs are attached.dropbox-ps-after.log (7,7 КБ)
dropbox-flatpak-run.log (45 Байт)
dropbox-ps-before.log (7,7 КБ)
eos-diagnostic-180429_044546_UTC 0300.txt (357,4 КБ)

The Flatpak installed applications section of the eos-diagnostics you provided show that the DropBox App (com.dropbox.Client) is not installed at the time you took the log.

Still, you have run flatpak run it seems according to another log, so at some point you had installed. Still, that log is useless since it doesn’t really contain the debug information I was expecting to see. Have you passed the --debug parameter in flatpak run com.dropbox.Client --debug | tee dropbox-flatpak-run.log ? If you did so, perhaps you need to merge the stdout and stderror descriptors (I haven’t really checked, sorry) by doing flatpak run com.dropbox.Client --debug 2 >&1 | tee dropbox-flatpak-run.log` instead.

Please make sure you have dropbox installed (should be listed in flatpak list --app and then reboot and retry.

Good afternoon!
I deleted it and installed it on a new one. Nothing has changed, the
attempts to launch do not succeed. Here is a screenshot.
And further. After the last update, the computer may hang up dead. And it
helps only a hard reset.
What should be done to urgently obsolete these inconveniences.

I can’t see any screenshot in this post, and I’m unsure I want to click on those strange links you posted (seem to be designed to track something?), so please re-attach the pictures normally, if you don’t mind.

That said, the Dropbox app is due for an update to fix a couple of issues more reported recently, so might as well wait a bit more to test the new version once it’s out (likely at some point during the next 2 weeks), just in case.

Thanks,
Mario
