The software stops and waits something too frequently

The software stops and waits something too frequently. Even an old PC never had such an OS issue.
I have no idea what to do. I’ve download it yesterday. Could it be an unstable version of the OS from Endless?

Can you give a bit more information about the device you’ve installed Endless OS on, and what exactly the problem you see is?

Please also generate a debug log and attach it here:

Unfortunately, the Creating debug logs procedure does not work. When I press key F2, the loader is visible, but after entering “eos-diagnostics” the GNU - GRUB v 2.04 reports an error, since there is supposedly no such command.
Could you please give me another solution with ditails for unexperienced user.

If I understand correctly, you are not able to get to the desktop. What do you see when you turn your computer on? If you see the Endless logo animation, check this page:

https://support.endlessos.org/e/en/troubleshooting/split-flatpak-repo

No, I can see the desktop with all the app icons. But any process suddenly stops and even the cursor.
I suspect the OS didn’t install properly. Therefore, there is a conflict which overload my processor.
Could you please give me instructions on how to reinstall Endless?

You can download Endless OS from our website, put it on a USB stick, and reinstall from there, but it is unlikely that this will solve your problem.

If the computer is sometimes usable after you switch it on, please try to follow the instructions to get a diagnostic file, starting once you see the desktop icons.

I’m afraid I can’t. I used the “logs” application.
Apparently, there are whole logs under the section ‘all’ of my previous message. Your chat-box here won’t let me attach txt-files with log.

Can you open Terminal, then run eos-diagnostics there? I can’t see any reason why Logs would work but Terminal would not.

It is certainly possible to attach .txt files. What error do you get when you try?

Hi, Mr.Thompson

I not understand what kind Terminal do you mean, but I send again log-files.

You can try your chat-box and completely sure that it doesn’t allow to attach those files, inspite its are txt-files.

Certainly, your system doesn’t allow to send the txt-files:

Sorry, I was wrong, those files were not txt (due to your app do not allow to see extentions)

I attached the files.

The logs show that there’s something bad going on with the wifi driver there.
Is it possible for you to try using a different wireless network, or a different wireless adapter?

Yes, it is possible. I can connect via the built-in Ethernet LAN or use a USB Wifi adapter to try a different wireless network. But I noticed that I have a processor problem.

Even when I turn off Wi-Fi, the processor periodically overloads and stops any work for 10-30 seconds. This happens every time I try to run heavy software (CAD) or several programs at the same time.

Therefore, I regretfully suppose that EOS 4.0 needs a more powerful processor.

With Best Regards,

Nicholas

I think the hangups you’re seeing there are because of the problems being faced by the wifi driver. If this driver/device was functioning correctly you would not see any issues.

Due to the nature of the failures it encounters, I am suspicious of a hardware issue, but I don’t know for sure. Did this device work better on a previous version of Endless OS?
